Dia de los Muertos

Día de los Muertos, also known as Day of the Dead, is a Latin American holiday where families welcome the souls of their deceased loved ones. Although this holiday is thought to be a sad holiday, it is not! Dia de los Muertos is about celebration and to be reminded of the moments we shared with those who have passed. La Casa's Dia de los Muertos celebration is an event where different registered student organizations can make their own altar for display at our event. You can enjoy activities which include papel picado and sugar skull decorating. We invite the campus and surrounding community to come and enjoy music, crafts, & performances with us!
