Faith Zone: Developing Interfaith Literacy for Illinois Staff

Diversity & Social Justice Education and the Illinois Interfaith Alliance host Faith Zone interfaith literacy training for staff and faculty. Faith Zone is a 3-hour allyship building training focused on providing staff and faculty with the skills to understand and engage religious, spiritual, and secular identities with our students and on campus.

Participants in the Faith Zone training will:

  • Develop a critical awareness of religious, spiritual, and secular identities
  • Build an understanding of the intersection of religious diversity with campus roles and policies
  • Gain resources to support and advocate for the religious, spiritual, and secular needs of college students
